The single Mallee Dust from the album Post-It Note Proposal tells the story of a man who has lived his entire
life in the Mallee Region of Victoria and his last wish is to have his ashes scattered in the red Mallee Dust so
he can travel over the land he loves forever.
2003 has been a huge year for Billy with accolades coming from all corners of the country music industry:

The album was recorded in the second half of 2002 and produced by Roger Corbett in his Blue Mountains Studio.

The songs are a combination of Billy's own writings, some well known country songs and some great songs from songwriters such as Roger Corbett, Beccy Cole, Rod McCormack, Kieran Kane, Buddy and Julie Miller, Bradley Bergen and Billy's brother Steve.
Included on the album is the beautiful title track "Post It Note Proposal" which was performed in the Toyota Star Maker grand final. One of the highlights of this great album is Billy's duet with Independent Female Vocalist of the year (2002) Karen O'Shea.
